if i could be king, then you’ll see
righteousness on my right side,
what evil could i leave?
you said you’d love me till you’d die,
now im suffocating, within
you, are not by my side.
it’s no easy thing to be king
some kind of alexander feat
love the world, change nothing.
the pacific and agean sea
horizons extend beyond, but
both look the same to me.
i am no king, no spartan hero, no greek god, no wise sage. and even had i been, would i have still seen the same horizon.
nothing has changed, the sun shines the same.
