fu chok

today i realised my grandmother can no longer make my favourite cantonese dessert, fu chok.

every life ends,
every moment slips by;
pain is not permanent –
will Your joy remain?

what hope is there for a people who reject you?
why do You love us still?
we are but dust, that fleet around for a time, and are gone.
You could outlive us all.

today i realised my grandmother can no longer make my favourite cantonese dessert, fu chok.

what things in this world are worth holding on to?

.

i know the right answer, but i don’t know how to write it out.

yet the Greatest Storyteller has promised to help.

my chapter is short,

only You can make it count.
