The walk of a saint is reduced to the “highly religious”. No one understands the cross you bear, or the joy you find. The “spiritual” can walk their path, while the rest of us remain untouched. What is life, but a spiritual walk? There are 2 sides, death and life. How is it that we think we can sit on the fence for eternity, when death is only a footstep away. Whisper in the wind, how short our lives, yet we rather spend it in a muddle of darkness and hints of light.

The walk of a saint is a lonely one. No one will understand his struggle, because so few have yet to understand God. Then again can man ever comprehend His vast majesty? Perhaps one day I shall find my place as that saint, and tread that lonely walk to salvation.
